Hey, StudeRich... I know that you are some sort of a vendor, but I don't really know what goods you hawk. What do you have in the way of air breathers?

We are Studebakers Northwest, we don't Hawk much, but do sell everything S.I. does and then some. Got some master cylinder caps, gas caps, oil caps, crankcase breather draft tubes, even some ol' 6 cyl. air cleaners, no R1 Avanti, all breathe pretty good thanks!

        Rich.

Studedude; Dave I could think of a hundred things that we are very lucky to have NOS after 43 years! Very hard to find things that SASCO has, that no '57 Chevy guy could EVER find in NOS!

All they have is cheap, poor fitting China repros!

Things like a Blue left hand armrest, new 120,140,160 MPH Speedometers, Police calibrated Speedos, Metric speedos, Gauge clusters full of GAUGES!, Tachometers, door panels, seat covers, bumper Guards for 1953 including license guards! how about a accessory child rear door lock kit?, daytime running light kit (ala 2000 models), even a few complete new seats right off the assembly line, 2000 '64 Lark Type front fenders, (try buying a NOS '64 Chevelle fender!)

So, you do have NOS air cleaners? Got into a debate yesterday at a car show with a fellow that doubted such things exist. Don't know why he singled out air cleaners (I don't think he actually wants one,) but he used that as an example to question how many vendors might actually have such an item in stock. I guess I should know my vendors better, because all I could come up with was, "Several." [:I]
Thankfully, he didn't seem to expect anyone to have one for each year and model. [8D]

Some 1955 Studebakers were sold with the paper air filter. Several people at the Omah National told me there were only oil bath air filters in 1955 ,and I should purchase one. The shop manual indicates these paper filters were im the NE part of the country where few dirt roads existed.
