  • Speedo / Tach / Gauges: Dash with tachometer

Here is a photo of my dash with the Teleflex Tachometer installed. Note also that I installed 270-degree-sweep oil pressure and water temperature gauges for better resolution

Nice! Where did you get the gauges?

The gauges were found on ebay. They are both mechanical gauges. I had to move the heater hose nipple from the water manifold to the water outlet gooseneck - drilled and tapped for 1/2" pipe thread - to accommodate the water temperature gauge bulb.

Those gauges look great !! To the untrained eye nobody would know they weren't original.

I searched long and hard to find a tach that looked a lot like the original. Thanks for noticing.

Correct. I previously posted a photo of the original Stewart-Warner 1959 Studebaker Hawk tachometer and the Teleflex Marine tachometer for comparison. I should reiterate that I have no connection with the manufacturer or distributor of the Teleflex tachometer.
