  • Pacific Southwest Zone Meeet

The Zone Meet went well. The number of Studebakers was down from last time but there were at least 50. There were many folks in attendance from all over the Zone. I hope they enjoyed themselves and had a safe trip home. Thanks to all who attended.

All the work and planning put in by the Phoenix SDC chapter was amazing. Thanks to Denny, Ed, Linda, Chris, and countless others. We will never forget the meet. A great day weather wise and some amazing Studes including Bill Simmons' incredible '53 custom. Hoping some pics of it will be posted.

I have yet to see any photographic evidence.
      I don't believe there was a show...

Picture #45 is Bill Simmons' '53 custom with Avanti R4 (specs) engine. The interior every bit as nice as exterior. Cover car from 1984 Turning Wheels.

Thanks for taking the pictures. My 40 President was not in the slideshow but is behind the white 84 Avanti.

Beauties with the R4 setup on the Carbs.

And this Hawk from Utah also had an R4 dual carb setup.
