Now that you mention it, Jim, a lot of South-Bend-built 1964 models are having 50th Birthdays, starting last month and for the balance of calendar year 2013.

    Anybody have one? BP

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to your coupe, Jim !

I failed to notice mine last April. Will make a point of not missing it's 70th in 2023!

Bob; What would have been the change over date, to 1954?

My '63 Turned 50 in mid January on the day before my birthday. I gave it a set of brake cylinders as a birthday present.

In May we had our 1 year anniversary together, and it got a Carter AFB carburetor.

And I thought being in a relationship with a woman could be expensive and time consuming!

'Not sure I understand the question, Jim.

If you are asking, "On what day did 1954 model year production begin in late 1953," I do not know the answer. BP

For my 59 Lark's 54th birthday, I gave it a new head gasket. It was very grateful.

My '55 is a January baby, My '66 is a February Baby so I let them sleep in for a couple of months for their birthdays. My '64, I just acquired this spring it is an April Baby, I brought it to its new home. I think birhdays are over-rated and expensive so next year I will get them nothing.
