Have you tried a "wanted" ad in TURNING WHEELS?

            Hi Mike,
those 1936 hubcaps are a bit of a hard one to find. The hubcaps for the steel artilary wheels used in 1936 are unique to 1936 and some 1937 cars/pickups with the same artilary wheels only. Hubcaps from 1937 full steel wheels do not fit the 36 rim but look the same.

            Good luck in you search

The image above shows what you are looking for. I have remanufactured the #189718 but not the one you need, #187843. Yes the the two caps appear identical but the inside diameter on the 1937 disc wheel cap is 9/16" larger than that used on the #187843 so they will not interchange. Over the years I have had a number of people ask me about about reproducing the '36 cap but my cost for the minimum quantity order (512) is over $19,000 and I do not feel I want to gamble on that. I wish you well in your search but in my nearly 50 years of collecting parts I think I have run across maybe 2 of the '36 caps so I am not optimistic re your chances! If you decide to go with '37 wheels let me know and I will be glad to sell you caps for those!
