Should the radiator neck on a 57 Silver Hawk be curved toward the driver's side (similar to http://www.ebay.com/itm/1957-1958-19...250#vi-content )? Or should it be straight back? I'm replacing a lot of gaskets and hoses and I'm not having much luck with the top hose. Here is how it looked before removal.

Mine is the same as yours. That's a different looking hose. SI has the replacement hoses. What is that thing in front of the battery? -
