  • Steering: What other steering wheels fit Studebaker?

Hi, I have a 56 Champion and the Steering wheel is irepairable so I want to fit an aftermarket wheel...what other wheels fit? Ford? Chevy? trying to get the right Boss kit for the Wheel...Thanks Phil

I do not think any "other make" will work, but some aftermarket universal/generic Wheels do. Stude. original wheels are available if you are Local SDC Chapter connected. Smaller wheels do not work well with Manual Steering.

I see you are in NZ, there are Studebaker Vendors and owners with parts there.

If I were you I would take the steeringwheel & go to a scrapyard with loads of classic cars & try it on other shafts or count the splines & diameter & then go there.
The 60-62 (maby newer also, google images!) Crysler are the most awsome ones I know & there's a lot of MoPar-stuff that fits on Studebaker & also is beautiful ...
