  • Interior: 1958 President rear window deck

does anyone know if Studebaker ever put a leather or other material over the cardboard rear deck cover? I did peal one off a spare car I had but not sure if it could have been installed by Studebaker. My deck cover doesn't cover completely and I think I may like to cover it with a material but I really like staying to original designs. Thanks. Jim R

I've seen just painted cardboard{hardboard} but would use anything of your choice thin enough and top it off with the covering of your choice. Vinyl. cloth, carpet,or just paint up a piece of hardboard. Just do it neatly. No body will have a problem with it. cheers jimmijim
