This is cool. I was kinda hoping someone would produce an Avanti retrospective, this being the car's 50th anniversary. I have seen it mentioned a number of places including the Historic Vehicle Association. But nothing in depth.

There was a lot of Avanti 50th Anniversary stuff at the 2012 SDC International Convention. 1962 was the 50th anniversary of the introduction. (This is sort of like Mustangs use 1964 introduction for anniversaries even though the cars were 1965 models.)
