My hawk has a number 15564 on the right side can anyone id what that means thanks

That is the remains of the casting number 1555641, since it is "RAISED" and not stamped, it cannot be changed on each unit that is why it is NOT the serial # and means very little!

That casting number is usually the later block with the full flow filter however, it can be identifed as 259 or 289 by the V=259 or P=289 in the serial number Mike (hotwheels63r2) mentioned on the LEFT side of the oil filler pipe area.

Unless; it is a factory replacement block, a High performance "JT" Jet Thrust engine, an Avanti, a 1955 President or a Truck engine!
