  • Need a 51 Stude radio tuning knob and shaft

Good evening, all. Somewhere in the distant past I lost the tuning knob and shaft
to my S-5123 Stude Champion original radio. I'm getting ready to restore the
radio's electronics, but have looked everywhere for the missing part.

The knob is bullet-shaped with a fairly long flat (I think) tuning knob shaft that
    slips into a slot.

Here is a pic of a radio like it: http://www.studebakerguide.com/2008/...lco-model.html

    Regards,
    Clarence

Just get ahold of Bud Alenik in Hawthorne, CA, he rebuilds Stude. Philco & Delco Radios and has some Parts for them:

Hi, Roy. Sorry for the delay--we'd been on the road for a while. Email me a price for the right-hand knob and shaft (the tuning side). I'll take both if necessary, but really just need the tuning knob/shaft. Thanks! cbonner757@gmail.com.

Roy, I located the original knob and shaft in the trunk of another car. Many thanks, but I won't be needing a replacement.
I will be posting to swap a new in box 185 cylinder head for a 170 head, in a separate post.
