  • 1962 Lark Regal convertible, how many were made?

It turns out that my grandfathers car that I inherited is a "Regal" convertible and not a Daytona (like I always thought it was). I did some homework and I guess Daytona replaced the Regal in 62 and even though they made very few Daytona convertibles - they made even fewer Regals? I can't find an exact number built anywhere online. Can anyone help?

The Daytona DID NOT replace the Regal in 1962. Both were available.
There were 2681 convertibles for 1962. I don't have the breakdown here, but that would be in the Fox feature article on 1962s in TW. You should get a copy.

The Fred Fox article, Feb. 1992, only lists total convertible numbers. Good reading for a '62 Lark owner of course.
