  • Color question?

    Can anybody identify this color? Ive never seen it before.

    I believe that is supposed to be the coral or flamingo color but, obviously there has been some fading/color shift on the original print. Probably due to age related ink fading. I'm struggling to remember the correct name for that color. Perhaps another member will have a better memory.

      It's a bad scan of a faded factory photo of a very RED '62 lark Deluxe 2 Door Sedan.
      There were no Flamingo '62's available for Standard order.

      Notice that the Red Hub Cap centers are also Pink.

        In '59, it was called Tahiti Coral. At least that's what it looks like to me. Of course, in a faded photo, who knows what the color is?

            That seems right. Just pulled the pic into photoshop and darkened it, and the grass looks green now.

              That is a very faded version of Blaze Red. That was the only red offered in '62.

                The 1959 Tahiti Coral Color was not Flamingo Color either, it was NOT a bright Orange/Tangerine like Flamingo but much lighter and more Beige.
