That manifold has been on Craigslist for months (maybe 6). It may be worth the money, but it looks like no one wants it.

I paid $750 shipped for this complete 2 x 2 set up, including linkages and fuel lines. My manifold is not a Weiand however.

Yours looks more hi-rise, too, Pat. Better ram effect, I bet.

A long time ago (maybe 10 or so years) I was looking for a 2x2 manifold and I wanted a 4 bolt carb mounting, I ended up with a Edmonds 2x2 intake, it has the 4 bolt holes also. Now they make the new Edelbrock 3 hole carbs, now i'm wishing i had bought a 3 bolt manifold.

Here is one that is going to be bumped down the wish list now that my engine has a knock. It is a 2x2 adapter on a 4 bolt intake. I think I can make it work cheaper and still look cool.

Your car, your money, your decision. Just know you've isolated the unique selling proposition - look cool. This Vintage Speed 2x2 setup will not do anything as well as a standard Stude iron 4-bbl.

When they first came out, I was asked to install and tune one. I pointed out it wouldn't fit under the hood of a C/K; he went away mad and sold it for less than he had in it a to another guy with a pickup. That guy paid too much to have lines and linkage fabricated. When it was done, the Vintage Speed 2x2 made less power and got less fuel mileage than his former 4-bbl. He sold it on eBay for less than he had in it and is running the 4-bbl again.

How much did the last Lionel Stone aluminum 4bbl repop intake bring on eBay?

i discovered a new one that I didn't know I had and am thinking of selling it when I get my camera going again.

Never mind -- I found the eBay discussion and it was for a 2 x 4 intake. Not too relevant.

Thanks Jack for good advice. I guess I should not re-engineer something that is not broke.
