              1949 or 1950. What does the serial number indicate?

                2R series pickup. The S/N would pin point the year.

                    That truck is gorgeous. My 2 cents... buy it but don't restore it. Wash it, get it running, even if you have to drop a 289 in it, but keep the original patina on that beast. WOW how I would love to own one like that.
