Thanks for posting pics of the nice cars down there. Do you know if a Mr. Davis is still around in Denton? I talked with him as he was building a street rod from an old Essex coupe,Mustang 4 cyl.,Lark rear end. I believe his everyday beater was a T Cab he built from a '61 Lark. He also had a lot of used parts in some out buildings. I was amazed how he did all this stuff at the age of 80! Rob in PA.

There's a name from the past! I remember his black GT Hawk with the 56 Golden Hawk fins, and black vinyl top, and matching vinyl trunk overlay. He has amazing patience and talents. Saw his handy work on a speedster wire center cap from one that have been run over by a semi! It looked better than new.

The wire wheels on the black '51 sedan look pretty nice!

That's odd, the '51 looks like the passenger side wiper is missing.

I would love to do the Power Tour, wish they would start one where I would not have to drive twice as far as the tour to get to it! Nice cars!

Went by and saw JW Davis a few months ago. He is still banging away on the Essex. I used to take cars apart, and help him build engines back when I went to school at North Texas State, back in 1969. He and Bob Helm over in Royce City are good friends, but I don't think either one of them are doing the local club stuff. JW is going to try to make the next national.

                Sweet Tear Drop!!!

I'm not sure I've ever seen one like that before.
I wonder what brand it is?

Hope to do the tour one day as well.
I took some time at Springfield INT meet to look the tear drop and car over. Very nice.

Power tour has been posting a lot on social media.

Hey, thanks for the pics. I stayed up too late Friday night to get out there Saturday morning, and the Power Tour looked like it was going to be rained out that afternoon, so I stayed home. Hopefully, I can make the FTW cars and coffee in a couple of weeks...
