i've always thought the starlight rear window treatment was inspired by Raymond Loewy designs of locomotives. am i wrong?

I would think that the wrap around windows and rounded shapes came from the aircraft industry. If you look at air planes, from just before WW II and just after, you see a lot of change in the shape of windows and covers."In the heart of Arkansas."
