  • Starlight coupe inspiration?

Does anyone know about this rendering?

I think it has something to do with Harley Earl, but that's all I know.

The wrap around Starlight Coupe was actually designed by Bob Bourke, but I would have to look up where he got his inspiration for it from.

I would think that the wrap around windows and rounded shapes came from the aircraft industry. If you look at air planes, from just before WW II and just after, you see a lot of change in the shape of windows and covers.

Cool idea but Bucky had no clue about vehicle dynamics. It was a dangerously unstable machine.
