  • Some small parts needed to complete '55 President sedan

I need a couple of the moulding clips for the outside window trim as used on the '55 sedans. They fit inside the moulding and attach with a screw from inside the door edge. The part # is 308474

Also needed is a spare tire mounting "J" bolt. #293705. A shorter one was used on other '55 sedans and may work as well. It is assumed the shorter bolt was used on other sedans due to smaller original tire size.

I could also use a pair of rear brake drums 10 inch smooth. Particularly need a right hand drum.

I am not looking for NOS just functional parts. PM me if you can help.

    Thanks, Ben
    American iron, real old school
With two tone paint, it sure is cool

Its got 8 cylinders and uses them all
With an overdrive that just won't stall

With a 4 barrel carb and dual exhausts
With 4.23 gears it can really get lost

Its got safety belts and I ain't scared
The brakes are good and the tires are fair.

Tried to sell her, but got no taker
I"ll just keep driving my Studebaker

I just went out back to take a look at my '55 parts car, and came up empty- for now.

For the trim clips- most of my trim is already gone.
What remains will be too rusty to attempt to save any clips.

    For the 'J' bolt~ I can't get the &#%@ trunk open!!!

    As for the brake drums-
I had planned to keep the diff under the car until it's totally parted out.
And that's gonna be awhile I think...

    sorry.

Since my Josephine also is a -55 sedan; how about a picture (or pictureS) to show a curious guy like me...?
