  • couple cheap C/K's Anyone looked at them?

I browse craigslist almost constantly and found these cars that were super cheap, Has anyone went to look at them if so, just how bad are they? Here is the first onew and the closest http://nesd.craigslist.org/cto/3795877001.html Here is the second one it's the right car, but he says the rust is bad in the frame have you seen it? http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/ra...722579304.html And hey's a couple in seattle I spotted http://seattle.craigslist.org/est/cto/3799970137.html He says it has alota rust but it doesn't look bad. Unless I find out that there not as bad as they seem I'm not going to buy any of them, but if someone could tell if there as bad as they look from first hand experience. Thanks Guys. Danny P.S. I'll add more as I spot them.

I'd have to pass on all of those if i was in the market for a "quick to become" a driver...

i do give credit to the 2nd seller saying "very rusty" on the frame. most would say "very little rust" anywhere!!!

Someone on this forum looked at the blue car (I posted it here for sale a few weeks ago), I guess its not good for much besides parts. The frame is rusted badly and would need to be replaced and I believe the floors are bad.

That Power Hawk on ebay looks like a decent deal - as long as the reserve isn't crazy.
No deceptive flags to prove I'm patriotic - no biblical BS to impress - just ME and Studebakers - as it should be.

All of the cars you have mentioned look to be excellent buys and, with a couple of hours and a couple of hundred dollars, you could be tooling down the road in Stude style in no time at all. Now, which one do you plan to buy?

Honestly, I would take a look at the first car u posted... The 6 cylinder 59', it looks pretty solid from the pics with the exception of the passenger side floor board. The ad says its mostly complete so I assume the parts missing should be included in the deal. $750 is a good deal if the frame is solid. Plus you said its the closest to you.
