This Lark was a EBAY score. It has a Trans Am front sub frame seamlessly installed along with a 9 inch ford on a 4 link with 4:11 gears. The motor is a 60 over built 454. I am told this thing screams by the owner and I am sure it does! The paint looks black, but when the sun hits it there is a deep dark purple tone to it. He bought this for less than $9000!!

I seen this while at South Bend and spent some time studying it. Very well done. When I seen the big block stuffed in there I was curious as to how it could possible clear everything in the Studie frame but soon found it sitting in a GM frame that was cleanly fabricated to the Stude frame. I liked!

That thing would wow the troops at a cruise night for sure. Are those front wheels the aluminum ones used for spare tires on some cars?

They did not know the origin of the wheels. I kind of thought they looked like temp. spares.
