    Soooo...

Anyone have any current numbers of Studebakers left on the road? Someone asked me how many Transtars I thought were around.

Dunno...but yours is gonna fall off the road if you don't put it upright!!

There is absolutely NO WAY to know that, more than most people realize but probably not over 20,000 all Studebakers together.

I'd be inclined to up that figure a bit, Rich. Of course, there's non-op'd ones sitting well out of sight that would be missed in a round-up.

Would anyone think that - outside North America - Australia has the next highest count of Studebakers? I wonder about other makes of the Studebaker era, is Rambler the next most prolific Amerincan make down under???

Agree with Studebob. There are, in fact, 32,794 Studebakers in use today, not counting the Gravelys, Onans and B-17's.
That's probably a number I just picked out of thin air but, HEY! I'm getting old so...BACK OFF!

For the record I have a '57 Transtar Deluxe on the road. Maybe we can start a count here.
