Anyone know how to rebuild a stromburg 4-106?

I'm no technician but I used to carry a big screw driver to tap the carb with the handle and loosen up the float. Try that first. Oh, and carry a fire extinguisher (no joke).Dave Warren (Perry Mason by day, Perry Como by night)

If you remove the Fuel Inlet fitting which is also the seat for the needle, you can clean the debris from it, to allow it to shut the fuel flow off.
The cause can be a dirty tank and or lines.StudeRich

Yes, either debris keeping the needle valve open, deteriorated needle valve or seat, OR your float aint floating!!! The float gets a hole in it and doesn't raise up to shut off the needle valve, and the fuel just keeps flowing in from the fuel pump. You just got this car running, right?KURTRUK
