New 1/43rd Avanti diecast

This dealer is saying they'll soon have a new 63 Avanti R-2 1/43rd diecast available in Avanti Gold, Red, Turquoise and black.

Is it really a new model or a re-issue?

If it is a re-issue, anyone have opinions on it?

Too bad they don't offer the option of a black interior for late 63s. Maybe later on....we can always hope.

It's a new issue due 5-2013...Automodello has made quite a name for itself in a short time amongst diecast fanatics: their diecasts are very well executed visually, though they lack the added features (like opening doors, hoods of, say, Danbury mint models). I have seen these new models advertised but never an actual picture of the product. The seller in each case uses a picture of an an actual Avanti. The first ad I saw for these was in the Avanti Owners Association newsletter.
