  • Refacing or repainting gauge glass? 1959 Lark

Couldn't find a post on this one..........what's the best way to get the letters and circle looking complete again? Pinstripe shop? Stickers? Anyone been down this road? I want to put the dash back together but can't bring myself to reinstall it looking shoddy! Thanks in advance........

Nice to know! I put a NOS cluster in my Champ in 2000, and by 2004 the numbers were peeling off the speedometer. Do you know any tricks to keep them in place if I got one of your glasses? And how much are they?

Those N.O.S. gauges seem to get a bit of condensation inside the glass and the numbers start to flake off while still in the box. The new glasses are boxed and don't seem to have this problem.

Glasses are $25 ea. The chrome retainer rings are $45 ea.

        Chris.

Do you have any for a 39 commander? Or a 39 Coupe Express?
