  • SDC Windshield Decals

Apparently it has been checked out with Cornerstone Registrations, Studebaker International and the Studebaker National Museum to discover what happened to our Windshield Decals that were always distributed to everyone with our membership Renewal Card and letter until recently.
And they ran out over a year ago and just ignored the situation apparently.

This is TOTALLY unacceptable! In today's world of: "We Invented COOL" and all the SDC promotions to grow the Membership, we just cannot be without windshield Decals for
    EVERY CAR.

They need to be good looking, high quality, 4 Color INSIDE applied Decals (stickers) I would prefer the original red, White Blue and Black Wheel Design.

They had the website address at the bottom, but we DO NOT need Cornerstone's Phone number which will become obsolete.

This one is an outside applied "Sticker" and the White Background makes it show up better than the Clear background inside applied ones I have seen, but I like inside ones because they should live longer protected inside. Maybe they are available with White backgrounds.

I like the inside stickers for longevity but I like to put them on my newer cars too and with tinted windows the stickers become almost invisible, so I like the outside decals for them. Which ever, I would still like to get some more.

But Dark Tint Windshields are ILLEGAL as are front seat, side windows.

You must be thinking of installing them on rear side or Rear windows.

While we are jumping on the subject of what we need....
How about some embroidered patches with the new SDC logo?
I have 2 of the big 9" patches with the old Studebaker wheel, and several of the 3".
I would love to have new patches available with the new logo in both sizes for ballcaps, shirts, and jackets.

Even the factory tinted windows seem to have such a reflective quality to them that you have to be right next to the car to even notice the inside decal. They show up very well in the back window of my '65 plymouth though.

We should recieve couple of free SDC inside decals ever year with our renewal. Also one other -itch is,our year pins especially, should be free and provided by SDC.I am proud of my 20+ years with SDC and wear my 20 year SDC pin proudly where every we go.If you've been paying into SDC to support the club every year the SDC year pins should be free, and mailed to the individuals when they reach that year with a thank you for your years of supporting Studebakers Drivers club..

                          StudeRich,
I'm totally on board with you on this issue. It's ironic that we want to publicize our club and cars with the "We Invented Cool" campaign, and we don't have the decals to put on our cars. I like to put the decals on both my antique Stude and my modern cars. Let's keep up the pressure.

                              Just a thought...

Maybe people could go into their "Zone Talk" forum and post a message on this issue for their zone directors? Since we have that communication tool, it would be a good way to use it, I think
