Back in high school, I worked in a body shop & we had to fix a '49 Merc. The owner installed a set of Lincoln quads... but didn't get them canted at the same angle... what a project that was! Bondo had just come out and he had used copious amounts of it. I learned that by warming it with a torch I could scrape out the stuff with a puddy knife. Oh the stuff DOES burn... don't ask! We redid the entire front end by shaping with 3/8" steel rod and new sheet metal & very little lead.
