  • TWELVE Studebakers on Display at Sacramento Autorama - More pictures added

The Karel Staple Chapter is doing their best to represent the marque. The show is at Cal Expo Fri-Sun. The theme this year is Hawaii, stop to say Hi and get Lei'd! Today was set up and decorate day. More pictures to follow.

Thanks for posting Pat. I got home and realized I had not taken many pictures.

Nice cross section of Studes. 1956 Power Hawk Custom, 1952 Hardtop. This is the car that got me jazzed about 52s, 1955 survivor. Paint is worn but the original upholstry is still perfect under those plastic covers, 1962 Cruiser - one sweet ride, 1964 GT Hawk in burmuda brown - Dennis Gage loved it, STUCOOL - the coolest 53 on the planet in the reddest of reds, Champ pick-up - great work truck - all original (well mostly), 1961 Hawk of the recent photoshoot fame - Stude powered with 4 speed, my truck - the only one with the hood open (don't be hatein' it's got a 5.3 in it, Brian Challender's 63 Cruiser replacement complete with West (by God) Virginia license plates, partially hidden is Steve Wilke's stock, almost, 53 (actually it's his wife Kelly's car), and last but certainly not least, a 54 sedan that is built for speed and it is all Studebaker power.

Come see the display, we'll be posting more pictures.

Got to give big kudos to Johna and Rick Pierce who worked tirelessly to make this happen. That's them in the last picture.

Very nice display, Pat and Jon. Thanks for the post and the excellent SDC representation.

        Cool beans! BP
We've got to quit saying, "How stupid can you be?" Too many people are taking it as a challenge.

Yes it is, that is one of the Dutch Treat racing team cars. It will be their "Fun" Bonneville car that will run a supercharged 232 on the slow course. It is still in the building stage. I'll get some more pictures tomorrow and post them.

I think Johna is blond Pat. I believe the red tint in her hair is just relection off STUCOOL....
