  • Now THIS '57 Pelham is super COOL!

The first thought that came to my head was Wow, I guess Dave (Studedude) must have fixed up his newly purchased '58 Scotsman Wagon a bit from the small pic in my newly listed Studes email from ebay.

    But THIS is even cooler!

It is advertised as a '57 Pelham but judging by that dash and Box heater, it may actually be a '57 Scotsman with a '56 Dash, it really does not matter much, it is just way cool looking with just a bit of Packard trim like the front bumper and Tail Lights.

Uhhhh didn't all Scotsman (cars) have that dash?

I love it that folks out there have the means to try the ideas in my head.
Check out how cool that Clipper bumper looks on the front of that car!!!
That treatment to the tail gate is something I've often thought about too.

It's a bit lower with more rake then I'd like,
but all around that is one very sweet ride.

My birthday is in July folks- pleanty of time for paint...

The Packard tail light install certainly looks well done (In the pics at least!)

That dash is a real puzzle, being a '56 Dash Chassis complete with a '56 Speedo, but with '57 Switches, the '57 Instru. and Speaker Panels and even a Chrome Radio blank out panel but with a Scotsman Box Heater under it.

Somebody must have had a lot of Stude. and Packard parts Cars to play with.

I do not see it being a '57 Pelham, it must be '56 or a Scotsman. A Serial and Body type Number would be interesting.

I LOVE that Packard bumper & tail-lights on it! ...& a Packard dashboard would've been
& that engine aint to heavy either & got power enough for daily use, at least in my age it would be just PERFECT!!!
Cool wheels but up with the front a wee bit...

Has anyone asked for a pic of the body tag yet?

I think that paintline in the door jamb hints at what the owner had planned for paint.
Not how Stude did it, but it is a clue...
