John had been sick for many years & spending several in a nursing home, were his wife also leaves. they have 3 kids Robert Hartman (Lisa) &Dan &(Susan)hartman,& daughter Pamela hartman of Wooster,Ohio grandkids Bethany,Timothy,Donald(Mary Kay) Hartman of Wadsworrth,Ohio.
Johns love of Studebakers go back many years. he had owned many of his 20 some years in the club and even before they club was formed. his last one a 1962 Lark 4 dr.
John & Helen had been married 53 wonderful years. he retired from Morton Salt retiring in1999 with 26 yrs. service. was a member of Mt. Zwingli Church , Studebaker Drivers Club(S.D.C.) and local chapter, Ohio Region Chapter SDC also Magic Cruiser's Car club.
John was 75 yrs. old diedJan.18th. 2013
