Looks like I logged around 18,000 this year in "exercising" our three Studes. just wondering, Does anyone else keep track of their annual Stude mileage?

My '83 Avanti also sees about 9K per year.....mostly accumulated in the commute back and forth to work.

The Big 6 River Bend Chapter (Iowa-Illinois Quad Cities area) gives an annual award to the most miles driven in a members Stude. If either of you were members of our chapter... you would have won by a landslide.
Congrats on keeping those Studebakers visible!

Thing everyone should know is this was a slow year for Joe. Over the past thirty-forty years, he has put more miles on Studes, especially the '56 Golden Hawk than anyone I ever knew.

But then Joe drives carefully. I haven't driven nearly as many Stude miles as he, but over the past fifty years, the average MPH and acceleration rate for those miles is up there.

Only 1000 miles in the last 21 months since restoration. But with an engine rebuild almost finished and retirement in June ahead, the miles will increase dramatically.

This year with the trip to Southbend included it was about 7500 miles. More typical years it is 3000 or so.

In the past 12 months, I've driven over 700 miles on my '59 Lark. I also drive a little less in my Model A Ford.

Duane I just got back in from the freezing snow and the daily driver that is the 66 multi colored car has at the moment 4468 and still counting. The red 66 is in winter slumber with recording 2442 miles for the year for a total of 6910.

I have no idea how many miles I put on the '40 this year partly because I had to swap the transmission and I think the one in it now has a problem with the gear that runs the speedometer pinion gear. I drive the wheels off that car though. As long as the weather is nice, it's basically my daily driver. It never sees snow however; around here with all the road salt it would get eaten alive.

I think the most I ever did in one year was 12-13k in a 58 Commander. It was my only car and an everyday driver. I made countless trips up and down the state in that old Beaterbaker.

The new owners drove it to South Bend this summer and it's still in daily service.

In the 2 years I have had the 76 Avanti, I did right at 5 K in 2011 and about 4800 for 2012. 2013 will be more miles as I'm planning on driving it out to Colorado Springs for the meet and do some touring while out in that part of the country.
