  • Would love to see the build sheet on this one.

Look forward to seeing the build sheet on this one!

I'm dealing on a '63 Wagonaire. Original color, is Omaha Orange and reportedly originally titled as a truck!

If I close the deal... do I return to the original Omaha Orange, go with something off the 63 color chart like Ermine White, something more adventurous like candy apple red or use the rest of the '62 Ford Rangoon Red I have sitting on the shelf (very close to Regal Red)?

Do I really need another one ??

Keep it original if it came Omaha Orange!! I bet it would have been for Fleet, or some GSA service duty in that case. I really want to see the build sheet for it when it arrives.

Stude did issue annual service letters to state/provincial DMVs that listed the specs of their sedans and wagons for use in registering them as commercial vehicles.

He used the phrase, ordered as a "Service Vehicle" when I asked about the Omaha Orange on the firewall that does not appear to be a repaint.

I looked at this vehicle about 2 months ago when it was for sale in Golden. If you look in the glovebox it will tell you that it was a Govt.vehicle and when it was put into service. The owner said they had got it at a Govt.auction in Denver.I declined to buy it for $500.00 and it was sold to some one in Boulder, who is now selling it.

                Sounds neat!
Here's one that was at Cedar Rapids in 2009. I don't know if that was it's original color. Sure is different

Omaha Orange (sometimes called Omaha yellow, IIRC...even though it's orange) sounds like a hiway department vehicle.

One heck of a markup if you turned it down for $500 and current owner is asking $4300 for it now on CL.

looks solid and a good honest car. just because someone did not buy at $500 does not mean its not worth 3500 or so.

Looks a lot like McClaren orange.
