  • I plan on being out of service for 2 to 4 weeks.

I justs wanted to alert some of you guys looking for parts. I plan on getting hand surgery on Dec 12,2012. Doctors say I will not be able to do any work. Also, to the guy who needs a rear end out of a 1951 Commander, you need to specify what exactly you want. I believe that the rear ends on all 1951 had the same size brake drums. Can someone fill me in. I do have lots of 1951 rears end. Be back to work on January 19, 2013

Take care, Roy, and do what they tell you! Best wishes with the procedure. BP

        Yes.

All of the 51/52 car rear brakes are the same. Whether Champion or Commander, six or V8, the REAR 51-52 car brakes are the same.

Good luck Roy and heal quickly, please.

Best to 'ya, Roy. Before surgery, of any kind, I have these standard instructions...

"Knock me out and don't wake me 'till I'm well!

              (Of course, they never do.)
