    Anyone know where I cad find a rear end from a 51 commander? Any help is appreciated

      51 and 52 are the same, but no other years.

      The overdrive, non-overdrive, and automatic are all different ratios.

      Would you mind giving us more information about the car and its needs, please?

        Radio Roy is correct. It all depends on Ratios. Other than that, they 51 - 52 were all the same as far as brake drum size.

          How about installing a later model 44, with 10" drums, say, from a 1956 and later Stude V8. Would that fit? Or would a later rear end be too wide or narrow?

            '53 and later rear ends are wider.
