  • Silver Hawk Power Steering Parts

    Hey guys,
My dad has a very nice '59 Silver Hawk. We are looking to upgrade from manual to power steering this winter. The tech forum was very helpful in telling me that we need a power steering set up from a '58-'64 Hawk.

I'm a Chevy and VW guy, so I don't know where to start when it comes to used parts. Are there any websites that feature Studebaker parts? We're in Arkansas, and to see a Stude parts car is rare.

    Thanks for any help!

    here's a couple places to start: http://www.studebakervendors.com/

    and: http://www.studebakerswap.com/swap/swap.php

the best advice i can give you and your dad is to join the "Studebaker Drivers Club"! (look at the top of the thread page). the magazine, "Turning Wheels" is worth much more than the price of admission - not only for the information, but the classified ads for Studes and parts - many found nowhere else.
