So....what about the South Central, Crossroads and Northeast Zones? They're also up for nominations as well. South Central includes AR, LA, NM, OK, TX ( have no idea what MX-BCN or BCS stands for). Crossroads includes IN, KY, MI, OH, ON. Northeast includes CT, MA, ME, PE, NL, NS, NB, NH, NY, QC, RI, VT.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and suggest that maybe the post you quoted was made right before Art threw his hat back into the ring. But I could be wrong- reading between the lines- I think there's more to why that Zone alone was called out.
