  • Greg Huston accident in central OH in Stude truck--follow-up

My good friend and former Stude-Packard-MB dealer Ed Filer called me tonight to chat, from central OH. One of the things he mentioned to me was a photo of a 'beautiful '50's Studebaker truck' in a Columbus magazine from a couple months back. Ed said the photo really grabbed him, as the truck was just beautiful. He said he'd hold onto the mag 'til the next time I was down in the area. He then read the name of the owner, and it was Greg Huston, whom I recalled as having passed away in an accident in a Stude truck a few months back. Has anyone heard if Mr. Huston had a health issue which may have caused the accident, or if mechanical issues were to blame? I was just wondering. Thank you.

Terrible news. I bought our wheel covers from Greg after an exhaustive search. They came off his dad's '54 Conestoga. Greg was a fine fellow.
