Speedster interior color question

I went to my local upholstery guru to see about his making a new carpet for my Blk-White-Blk speedster. The present crumbling carpet is a fairly light blue. The door panels are a dark Grey in the same checkerboard pattern as the seats. My seats are an Ivory / beige.

He laughed and said "the last guy who did door panels and carpet must have wanted to use up what ever he had on hand."

My question Speedster guys is are your doors dark Grey, does anyone have a black carpet. in general what did the factory use as colors and what are you guys doing that looks good. I'm not doing the seats except for new foam and tightening the springs; the leather is very good except for a very small stain that i was able to buy a perfectly matching dye for; its now showroom quality.

To: Stall,-----Earlier Black/White Speedsters had red carpeting. But Your car (serial#7170147) is quite late production....and should have a dark grey/brown open pile carpet. (Cut Pile)
