I clicked on the link and see that someone bought it. The face might have been fake, but the movement looked legitimate. That link led me to do a search for South Bend watches and there seems to be an eBayer in Georgia unloading an entire collection. There are about twenty-five South Bend Studebaker watches from the Georgia eBayer. Anybody we know?John Clary

Ah, a rare mis-strike like a U.S. Coin worth about a hundred times as much as a regular one!
But a South Bend watch with a poor replacement face is a South Bend watch, same Co. later bought by Studebaker.StudeRich

All Studebaker watches are South Bend but not all South Bend watches are "The Studebaker". The face and works should both be marked.Steve Grant
