So the family says lets go someplace different.............so...........the Avanti is pressed into service to travel to the end of Long Island...Orient Point to watch the cars load onto the ferry and travel over to New London CT.

Ok.......stage set............the route?............none other than I-495....aka.....the long island destress-way

One late model Viper passed and we both gave a thumbs up............two Ferrari's pass.............nada....snobs....

Then..............a NYS trooper pulls along side.........we are doing a steady 60mph........so no problem, correct

Well all of a sudden the cop speeds up passes to get onto the break down lane..........there he slows up..........when we pass he jumps directly in the rear of the car.......true enough...........Mr. NYS trooper just wanted to get a good long look from every angle of the Avanti...........

Indeed!...........but we crawled all the way out to orient via 25:-( You know driving to the Joyzee Shore from here is no walk in the sun......three bridges, SI Expressway....GS Pkwy.........that is why it's nice to stay on the 'island' :-)
