  • 1961 Hawk (just finished a frame off restoration)

Below, are two pictures of my newly finished 1961 Hawk. It was a frame off restoration. The car is an original California car from Inglewood California. It has a four speed, 289 cu. in., bucket seats, twin traction. I have included a before picture and an after one too. It is coming to the international meet in South Bend.

Great job! Had the pink faded to the "Mary Kay" shade of pink, or was it repainted from Flamingo Pink at some point before restoration? It looks its a brand new 61 all over again.

The car was faded from Flamingo Pink. I went for a visit when he got it and saw it a few weeks ago when he had a few more things to complete. Roly always seems to pull off a beautiful restoration. I wish I had his talent.

Very nice Hawk. I like the color...I would put one of those miniature flamingos on the dash. You know, kind of like a hula girl but a flamingo.
