THIS is the type of car I'd like to grab for the 289 4spd. GT drivetrain[:p] My plan is for a 62 or 63 Daytona, but that's not cast in stone... I like the fins on the 60 Hawks... but again, to far away, combined with too high starting price (for me anyway[|)])...

Here you go, Gary- another LLHH for you!!:D

Bob,

Are you speaking of this one? While it looks nappy, I think structurally it is better than my new one.

I have a couple of things working to see about resurrecting mine. By the way, I got the wide whites on the front to squeal a bit when I was turning it around at the end of the street.

No, but what's the deal on those GT body mounts...? Could make the difference in saving this one...;)

You do realize that Studebaker did NOT offer a four speed in the 1960 Hawk.

This car was listed with an opening bid of $1300, no reserve... looks like the seller pulled the ad with a half day to go, and re-listed it...

This time, the opener's $1800- and the seller says: "Prior Bidders Pls Bid Again - Reserve lowered!" [}:)]

No problem- I still have my $500 bid ready if he gets real!:D
