  • Correct spray color

I picked up off of ebay, this afternoon, a green dash cover, for the 64 Daytona,
being sold by Dennis at SASCO. The only thing I need to do now, once I get it,
    is to spray it brown.

What is the correct color of brown and from who or where [?]

Not sure of the correct shade, might check with SI, but, if you go to a automotive paint store, make sure you get vynil dye! not paint, sounds simple but---

I suggest the SEM paint product line, as it's designed to prep and paint vinyl and leather. I used it quite successfully to change a black repro Stude truck dash pad to a light tan, very close to correct color. I'm sure they won't have an exact match for the brown you are needing, but it's still better to use a paint system designed for that job.

Thanks Jim, I checked with, SI, but they only have the dye
for the Avanti's....I'm hoping that there may still be some
one who knows the color. Or I will try and color match with
a piece of viynl, that has not been sun bleached.

And thanks Dillocrafter, your reply creeped in after the
one I left for Jim...I will keep that in mind when it comes
time to start checking around. I see by their web site
their suppliers, in AZ, are all in the Phoenix or Tucson
areas, which are much too hot right now [8D]
