BUMP!!
It's back http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Stude...item35ad4333cd
Now at a price that is more reasonable.
If I had the money space, I'd "buy it now", even with the various faults, such as the fender/eyebrow rust. I just noticed something I missed before; the rear bumper is lower on the right. Oh well....such is life when you have an attraction to 4 dr V8 wagons with overdrive...

That car has been listed for sale continuously for at least a year. Sometimes it's $7950, other times it's $12,995- literally, back and forth between the two It's getting tiring seeing that the owner still doesn't get a clue about what the market is...Proud NON-CASO

a record?
Has this thing been on eBay that long now?
I wonder if that's some sort of record-- but how can you tell, really?
It's been listed by the owner and at least one dealer now...
The price drops every few months now, too.
Say, Jim~ Thank you for NOT starting yet another thread about this one.
I'd bet another record set by this car woud be the number of posts about it...

Hey Dave, I searched long to find the most useful old thread rather than starting a new one. "New" would not be the best word. Yes, it has been back and forth, but unless I missed a listing or two,....or 17.....something is a 'bit' different this time. ISTR that the 'starting bid' was $7950 AND/OR the 'buy it now' was $12,995 or very similar in both cases to those figures, and the reserve each time was somewhere up close to the 'buy it now'...so it never sold because it definitely was not worth about 12K with the obvious faults (and who knows the hidden ones?) to anyone wanting a 57 wagon
>>>THIS TIME<<< the 'buy it now' price is $7950 and it is a 'buy it now or make offer' deal. That is essentially quite a bit different than what has been going on before. I'd say a lot of reason has crept into the marketing, but maybe still not quite enough. I do remember one time saying that if I could have sealed the deal at the opening bid, I would have gone through with it, as I happen to have some NOS or good 57 fenders, and NOS wagon rear doors etc. It would have made more sense BEFORE Glendale AZ since I was flying down to the general area anyway.
