  • Need help identifying hubcaps please!!

    Hello all,

My father recently passed & i have come accross numerous Studebaker parts in his barns. I have no clue as to what make/models they might go to. To start I was hoping to get some help identifying some hubcaps. Any info is appreciated, including years & models they would fit & if they are very rare/valuable for some reason or another.

      #1 1961 Lark
#2 is correct only for 1960 Lark
      #3 I believe is a 1939 President
#4 1958 is correct. The only year Studebaker offered 14" wheels.
#5 is correct (it is 15", however)
#6 This same stamping was used 1959-1963 on Hawks and Larks. This color combo was for 1961 Hawks and Larks (15")

And actually - not all that rare. Alot of 58s eventually ended up with 15" wheels and ended up wearing whatever 15" or dog dish caps the owners fancied.
No deceptive flags to prove I'm patriotic - no biblical BS to impress - just ME and Studebakers - as it should be.

I think #1 was also used in 1958. Also, on #6, didn't the 1962 versions have the red centers? Good Luck with them!

Good point. 62 Lark had red centers, but with white S and white outer rectangles.

62 Hawk, however, was the same as 61 Hawks and Larks. Studebaker was good at using up last year's parts

I have never seen any 1961s with the red centers. Perhaps just on the 1962 GTs? The 1962 Larks do have the white trim with the red centers. The white striped '63s are pretty slick looking, especially on a nice Wagonaire!

Again, I think you are correct. Only the 5th time I've been wrong today.
