I was going to put the 'Link' to this video in the 'technical' section
of the Forum , but due to the excellence of the subject and the
'Cinematography' , thought that a wider audience would get to
see it in the 'general' section . The car is owned and restored
by Scott Robertson who is President of the 'New South Wales'
( Australia) Chapter of SDC , in Sydney the largest city on the
east coast .

Yes , "deco_droid" you got it right , somehow what I put up was not quite right .

So now if you all 'click' on the link in Post #3 , you WILL get to view an outstanding

video . Particularly for those who like equipping a Studebaker with 'period' speed

equipment . Not that a Champion is going to necessarily break the sound barrier !

I watched the video last night. Excellent job by whoever set it up. Watching the driver shift with the left land was interesting.

I would like to do that to the champion engine thats going in my Transtar. Is any one making these headers???

Bill Cathcart had them available, but he has had some health issues and may not be doing them. You may have to make your own. Some folks have made tube headers, but they are not necessary.

Brother if you are interested in having a set of headers for your Stude 6, I can help you out with the how to and the method of making them yourself.
It took me 50 hours to build the set you see in the video for my 51, but that entailed the resarch of how to do it, what electrodes to use.
Brother if you would like some assitance, I can instruct you.
I am not sure how we can contact each other, not sure if is norrmal to jstu give you my email address etc.
Let me know via the forum if you are interested and we can take it from there.
I will be coming to South Bend too, if that is any help.
