  • My 64 hawk clock

When I picked up my 64 GT Hawk I noticed that the clock did not work (the car had been sitting for 25 years) so no big surprise. I took my car on its first 10 mile trip Wendsday and when I got home I noticed the second hand was moving so I set the clock. Next day second hand still moving but no time change. So I set it again. Well my clock is now keeping perfect time. Who ever would have believed that this could happen to 47 year old factory clock. Go figure.....

Well done on the clock & hope it keeps working. I have good & bad luck over 43 years with various '64 GT clocks & only managed late last year to pick up a NOS unit still in the original Studebaker box. It sits in my car now & I only fit the inline fuse when taking the Hawk on a run or displaying in a car show.
