Frosty, Deby and myself arrived home safe and sound a little while ago.
1443 miles round trip in a 1955 Studebaker with NO seat belts, no outside rear view mirrows, drum brakes all around. This car was considered safe in the 50's and 60's, I guess it still is. Or is it l just like living on the edge? (G)
Oh yeah, Frosty got his first first place award.

An 80,000 mile original 259 with a 2bbl and an automatic tranny. Neither have ever been out of the car and have never been rebuilt.

Did not meet you but I did admire the car. When I poked my head in no one was around.

Deby sez "What happens in South Bend, stays in South Bend". She may have some cities mixed up. <G> And too, she may revert back to OcrappyOne at any moment.

A good running 259 is hard to beat, and it sounds like yours is a good one !

Brian, evidently you have never driven on the Interstate Hwy, east of the Mississippi river. Pulling over to the emergency lane is one of the most dangerous things one can do around these parts. I love myself, my wife and Frosty too much to attempt that. OcrappyOne tried to get pix of the 'Welcome To' signs through the windshield but she said we were going too fast. Just trying to keep up with the flow of traffic <G>.
