I have a V8 radiator in my 1950 2R and think I might have located a replacement to go with the champion 6. The one I found has metal flanges on both sides. Are the radiators for the champion 6 narrower than the V8 radiator? Can somebody please post a pic of their original radiator mounted in their truck? I hate to buy this thing and have it shipped to find out it isn't right.

Yes they have a strip of metal on both side. I'll see if I got a pic.sigpic

This is probably the best photo I have of the rad.
Note the 6 cyl rad goes on the inside of the rad support , while the big 6 goes on the outside of the support.
