  • Our AvantiR2 is done

Well, almost. Have a few interior things to do, but she is about 97% done. She is sporting a new metallic dark jade green exterior, new chrome, and a SI red interior. We bought her almost three years ago as a non-running, non-stopping car, which was almost ready for parting out. It took a couple of years to get her mechanically sound again and on the road. The past eight months was spent getting her exterior and interior redone and she is now looking good. I now have a great Avanti driver. Hope that you enjoy the pics. We have enjoyed the journey.

Here are a couple of before pics from the day we picked her up. She was born in Avanti Red with red interior. She was painted green and the interior painted black in the 70s. Still has her original engine and transmission with only 44,000 miles.

The color looks like the Emerald Green on my Acura. Is that what it is? It looks too dark to be Jade Green.
