The amount of work done to this pick-up is crazy, and to my eye it all works. The camino is pretty sharp too! As per usual, not my photo, and can't give credit to who took the photo and who built/owns the truck. This may have even been posted on the forum before, regardless still counts as eye candy. Cheers, Junior.

Amazing how well that Merc grille fits in! Not sure I like the '57 Chevy hood ornaments on the bed cover, but I'd live with it

It seems like I have seen a picture of this one on the forum before. Definitely well done. I am not too sure about the hood ornaments on the rear cover either, but a nice custom. Not something I want, but I would like to see it myself."In the heart of Arkansas."

They actually look like a '50 Buick Bowling pin grill but not the entire pin. It looks like he cut them thru the middle of the bumper and then painted the reccessed bumper areas white. Could be wrong, but that is what I feel like it may be.
Clark, I feel like you think it is a Merc grille because 90% of the 49-51 Mercs in Cali have a similar grill installed in it....but those are not stock either.

That's my pictures. I took it at the Pismo Car Show last year. They pulled into the liquor store my friend Dan owns on the corner of Price and Dolliver. That is where I had the Avanti set up. If you look across the street that is where I took a picture of the camper and the car on the trailer. The truck was built by a father and son team. The El Camino sitting next to it is also one of their creations. I will check my photo album and see but I think I even have another picture of the truck. It is also on the "Cool trucks" posts on the HAMB. I don't remember but I think it was bowtie powered and had air bags. Very nice looking in person. They definately do their own thing to their liking. That makes them my kind of people.

Sorry Dan that I did not give you credit. I have a file of random cool stude photos on my computer..most of which I download off the net and then forget the source. I will try to start making notes of where I source the photos from...regards, Junior (with tail tucked firmly between legs)sigpic
